2:00 AM Brookdale at Home is sponsoring a special event to help increase awareness of heart disease and promote cardiovascular health. This educational event will feature expert tips and valuable information on how Brookdale supports a heart, healthy lifestyle, including their Optimum Life, dining and nutrition program and their Engagement Plus offerings like B-Fit exercise classes. 11:00 AM This educational session equips participants with the tools and insights needed to navigate ethical challenges with clarity, courage, and compassion. Through real-life scenarios, attendees will deepen their understanding of ethical principles, learn to apply decision – making models with confidence, and strengthen their ability to advocate for what's right - even in the grace of situations. Walk away with the more refined, ethical compass in a renowned sense of professional integrity to lead with purpose when it matters most. If you would like to participate in the 2026 YPDSS Community Resource Refresh Forum, please complete the registration form and return. Note: Senator Danny Diggs will be our event host and there will be a demonstration of the “Red Sand Project”. The Red Sand Project promotes and educates the community regarding human trafficking.
9:00 AM The 6th Annual Cars for Chris Car Show and Safe Driving Event is more than just a fun event—it raises vital funds for the Christopher King Foundation, helping our team speak in schools across the state of Virginia about the importance of seat belt safety. *Free entry for spectators.
